I am an Indian American visual artist, musician, curator, and educator, born in rural New Jersey, raised by musicians, and now residing and working in California.  My paintings have been exhibited nationally and internationally, represented most recently with Maybaum Gallery and Seager Gray Gallery.  I am the selected artist for the upcoming Public Art Project with the Herz Recreation Center in San Francisco, CA through the San Francisco Arts Commission, and I have also completed recent commissions with Square, inc. as well as the Facebook Artist in Residence Program. I am currently curating projects in Oakland, CA for underrepresented, bipoc/minority artists including, Proceed To The Route, by Togolese-American photographer, Sudie Akossiwa Wentling, A Mural In Progress…, an upcoming multi-disciplinary exhibition by M. Anthony Hopkins, and in partnership with Sutter Health/Alta Bates Hospital, I am working on placing student generated two-dimensional art pieces in various medical clinics in Oakland. I am the leader and composer behind the indie alternative rock band, St Tropez, as well as my life-long Indian-Americana solo project, Full Indian. I hold a BS in Architecture from the University of Virginia, an MFA in Painting from the San Francisco Art Institute, I have lectured at UC Berkeley in the Department of Art Practice, and I currently teach middle school visual arts at an independent school in Oakland.
